Derbyshire Constabulary - Do the right thing ! We know most people are responsible drivers and don't risk getting behind the wheel under the influence, but unfortunately despite this, we still see a rise in drink and drug drivers during the Christmas and the NewYear periods. To protect other road users, we run additional patrols and operations such as Operation Limit during the holiday periods , to combat the rise we see in dangerous driving such as this. You can do your part in helping us stop drink or drug driving by calling out loved ones' behaviours, and reporting to us when you think someone is at risk. If you see someone who you believe may be driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs and the crime is happening at the time, please ring us on 999. If you have intelligence on a habitual drink or drug driver who you know repeats this behaviour regularly, please send us a direct message on Facebook, or report it on our website: https://orlo.uk/AxhxC
You can also anonymously contact the independent charity CrimeStoppers, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting the CrimeStoppers website at https://orlo.uk/h6aAG Let's look out for each other and make sure we can all enjoy our festive season together. #DontDrinkDrugDrive
